1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Chef Assistant (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Chef Assistant is a meal planning and recipe management application that helps you plan weekly meals, manage recipes, and generate grocery lists. The Service is available on web and iOS.
3. Account Registration
You must sign in with a valid Google or Apple account to use the full Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
You may permanently delete your account and associated app data at any time from within the app at Contact → Delete Account.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
- Chef Assistant offers a 30-day free trial for new users.
- After the trial, continued access requires a $4.99/month auto-renewing subscription.
- On iOS, subscriptions are billed and managed through your Apple App Store account.
- On the web, subscriptions are processed securely by Stripe.
- You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refund requests for iOS purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.
- For iOS app subscriptions, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of all recipes and meal plans you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
- Reproduce, resell, or distribute the Service without permission.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chef Assistant and Wemyss Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
